What does Alaino do?
We operate blockchain validators and nodes for institutions. We run the infrastructure ourselves, end to end.
Which networks do you support?
Ethereum, Aptos, NEAR and Canton Network validators, plus Bitcoin and Solana nodes. New networks on request.
Where does your infrastructure run?
Across AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, CoreWeave and Oracle Cloud in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, in separate accounts and regions.
What is a distributed validator?
A validator whose key is split across several machines. A threshold of them signs together, so no single machine holds a full key or can take the validator down.
How do you handle keys?
Generated offline, stored in remote signers with slashing protection, never on the host that talks to the network. Access is hardware-backed and least-privilege.
Are you running on Canton today?
Yes. Alaino is an active MainNet validator, allowlisted by all Super Validators, with a TestNet validator for staged upgrades.
